Trinity Valley Community College – Kaufman is a member city of the TVCC system, which covers 5 counties and over 5,000 students. Their main campus is in Athens, TX with satellite campuses in Kaufman, Terrell and Palestine. TVCC provides traditional college courses, dual credit, health science and workforce training programs. Their corporate training division partners with employers for customized training provided by the Texas Skills Development Fund program.
Texas State Technical College (North Texas Campus) - is a state-funded technical training institution.
